For this recipe you need:

  • ne chicken

  • roots - one bundle

  • one onion

  • butter - 2 tablespoons

  • smoked pig's fat - 75g

  • flour - 2 tablespoons

  • one laurel

  • tomatoes - four

  • creams - a half of a glass

  • karri - 1 tablespoon

  • salt, cayenne (pepper) to taste




  • Pour the chicken by the cold salted water, add chopped roots, laurel and boil on the small fire. Divide prepared chicken in portion pieces and filter the broth. Take off the peel from tomatoes, cut and fry on warmed butter together with fat, powder with flour, stir and add the broth. Boil for about 15 minutes more, after that add karri and cayenne pepper.

    The soup is served up with cubes of fried white bread or rice. Add creams to taste.
